Datuk Seri Najib Razak questioned whether or not government assistance is sufficient for non essential business facing a period of at least 4 months or at the latest 7 months without any income.
According to the Former Prime Minister, He said in referring to the recovery program announce by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin yassin, most regular businesses that are not categorized as essential will only be allowed to continue operating in September or October.
“I don’t know if the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government is aware that the state of Kelantan and most of Kedah have been under PKP 3.0 since April while PKP 3.0 nationwide actually started on May 12.
“This means that most of these sectors are not allowed to operate for 4 to 7 months while the tourism sector has to wait until the end of the year” He said in his Facebook posting today.
Najib said the plan introduced by the government is the same as Movement Control order 2.0 (MCO 2.0) which expect the Covid-19 case to drop within the 2 figure on May.
“It would have been better if the PN government was not stubborn and had implemented PKP 2.0 in January as PKP 1.0 with the appropriate assistance which lasted only 45 days.”
“What if it doesn’t happen again?” He ended his post.
