TVET is not a second class education

Student should choose a career in Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) as currently it is the most suitable career option.

According to Prime Minister Tan Seri Muhyiddin Yassin, TVET is not a course for second class education or for those who is not doing well in school.

“Whether public or private, state TVET institutions are among the best in the world”.

“Skills based career opportunities offered from TVET is able to secure a lucrative income” he said while officiating the closing of the TVET 2021 Education Summit Expo.

The sentiment was also agreed by Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad.

She said the marketability of TVET graduates exceeds 95 percent every year and this proves that industries prefer polytechnic and community college students to lead the market.
