Should Prasarana CEO step down?

The Light Rail Transit (LRT) collision happen last night that injured 213 passenger have become an uproar among Malaysian

Malaysian netizen gave their opinion in regards to this issue and among those comments requesting the Chief Executive Office of Prasarana to resign.

“Saman ! Incompetence! The CEO should step down , pay the compensation money for the victims!” said twitter user (@YeopAmirul1648)

“CEO prasarana sila letak jawatan & compensate semua org dalam train ni. Pergi minta maaf dekat setiap seorang penumpang.” – (@hydesign_my)

“Top management must be held accountable. Resign and apologise.” – (@marcusncy)

47 out of 213 passengers were reported seriously injured while hundreds more were lightly injured in the collision of two Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains, each from Gombak and Kelana Jaya.

The two trains reportedly collided at about 8.45pm between Kampung Baru and KLCC stations.

However, RapidKL in a tweet from @AskRapidKL said that alternative transport arrangements will be made in view of the accident.

“Our priority is to get all our passengers to safety. Alternative transport arrangements will be provided. We are working as quickly as possibly to extend aid and rectify the situation. Please stay calm and follow instructions.” they said
