Selangor is planning to operate PPV in Mosque

Selangor Taskforce for Covid-19 (STFC) has submitted a plan to open up a vaccination center (PPV) in Mosques.

According to its Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, the plan has been submitted a few weeks ago and they have received support from Selangor Islamic religion department (JAIS).

“I as STFC Chairman have already submitted this proposal a few weeks ago and we have got the support from JAIS”

“However we will be needing the blessing of Tuanku Sultan of Selangor because it is a good step for us to do the vaccination in the Mosque” He said after his visit at the vaccination area in UiTM Puncak Alam.

He also said that the Menteri Besar Selangor Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari will also consider this plan

Earlier, the Kelantan Health Department announced that six mosques, suraus and pondoks in the state will be made temporary PPVs for the convenience of the local community to receive their respective vaccinations.
