A report from the Committee of Inquiry on the Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) violation incident which happen on 24th Mei 2021 has been submitted to the transport minister.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong said he had already received the report and a virtual presentation session is also done by the committee panel.
“I am satisfied with the report by the 9 -member Committee of Inquiry, headed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport which is professionally made, comprehensive in its details, and can be completed within 14 days given to them.
“Congratulations and well done to the team of the Investigation Committee” he said via a post on his official Facebook account today.
Last month, an LRT incident saw 166 passengers slightly injured as well as 47 others seriously on the route between Kampung Baru and KLCC stations.
The Ministry of Transport immediately set up a Committee of Inquiry chaired by the ministry’s secretary general, Datuk Isham Ishak.
