Corruption, as defined by the World Bank, is a form of dishonesty or criminal offense undertaken by a person or organization entrusted with a position of authority, to acquire illicit benefit or abuse power for one’s private gain
According to Vishal Mangalwadi a social reformer, political columnist India told in a video, he said poverty and corruption is related to one another,
Vishal said to combat both, a nation needs hearts and mind that is transformed by gods works and spirit rather than just relying on investment and protest.
“Globally corruption is a norm. I was surprise some culture has found a cure”
“My first experience of culture and trust was in Holland, my host took me to a dairy to buy milk, and I never hear machine milking cows and no one was selling the milk, my friend just open the tab, fill his jar, then he grab both of the milk, paid the milk in a bowl, took his change from the same bowl and started walking away with his milk. I was stunned”
“I said to him if you were in India, you will take the Milk and the money” he said.
He added that if the consumer is corrupt, the supplier will be dishonest and abuse the production of milk and directly the consumer will request by the government to appoint milk inspectors.
In addition, he said by appointing government to inspect the milk production, there is a high chance where the milk inspectors will be corrupted by taking bribe and allowing adulterated milk to be sold.
The consumer will have to bear the cost of the milk, the inspector, the sales, and the bribe which none of this add any value to the milk.
In paying for all of this, the consumer is paying for his sin of corruption.
Hence, to combat such corruption, the people of the country will need a cultivating character that is based on Gods scriptures.
“All scriptures is given by Gods inspiration and its profitable for correction and instruction in righteousness that the man of God is complete for any good work” he said.
