Malay Ruler has started discussion with Agong

Malay rulers began arriving at the presidential palace, to attend the special discussion sessions with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Al-Mustafa Ri’ayatuddin Billah Shah, today.

Among the first to enter the courtyard of the Istana Negara gate was the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah who arrived at about 11.02 this morning followed by the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar who entered the courtyard of the main gate of Istana Negara at 12 noon.

Aside from the Malay Rulers, the Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali is expected to lead several heads of government agencies to brief in the special discussion.

According to the Commissioner of the Royal House of business Bijaya Country Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin through a press statement last week, a special discussion of the Malay rulers is related to efforts to combat the spread of the epidemic Covid-19 and its implementation during the period of emergency

Yesterday, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at Istana Negara to address the Yang di-Pertuan Agong
