ISRAELI GUNFIRE KILLS GHEITH YAMEN, A 16-YEAR OLD PALESTINIAN BOY

Clashes erupt in various parts of the Occupied Territories between Palestinian protestors and Israeli troops

Palestinian Health Ministry early Wednesday morning announced the death of Gheith Rafifq Yamen, 16, from Nablus on the Israeli occupied West Bank. He was shot in the head by Israeli troops that escorted a group of Jewish settlers who stormed the Joseph Tomb area in Nablus.

The moment the settlers and their protectors arrived at the area, clashes erupted between them and the Israelis. At least two more Palestinians were shot and wounded while a few dozens suffered from tear gas asphyxiation.

Israeli sources said at least five of the Jewish settlers were wounded when hit by stones thrown at them by the Palestinians.

For the Palestinians under occupation, it has become a habit to capture with their mobile phones every move the Israeli army does. Whether one is hiding in a car, behind a window curtain or just around the corner, what matters is to shoot whatever the phone lens can see and spread it elsewhere. The video above was compiled from clips shot by Palestinian amateurs, probably journalists-to-be.
