Delivering Cloth and Kuih Raya is an unreasonable excuse given by people to cross district without any permission letter
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said his department did not impose compound but instead instructed the individuals involved to turn back.
“We have already started roadblocks from yesterday and found that so far there are still many road users who are stubborn to cross the state with improper intentions and they are instructed to turn back.”
“Among their reasons are sending clothes to a friend’s house in Shah Alam, buying goods, bringing the family to shop in the Shah Alam area,” He said
He said in order to facilitate the movement of traffic during working days, his party would open additional routes but strict inspections would still be carried out as usual.
