Blood clots have a low percentage for vaccine use

Individuals infected with COVID-19 have a higher risk of developing blood clots, compared to the side effects of taking the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Assurance Special Committee (JKJAV) informed that the risk of blood clots is eight to 10 times higher if a person is infected with COVID-19, compared to taking the vaccine

A study by the Medical and Healthcare Product Control Agency (MHRA) United Kingdom (UK) found that the risk of serious blood clots as a result of AstraZeneca vaccine injection is only four in a million people.

It is based on over 20 million doses of AstraZeneca already given in the UK, with a risk of serious blood clots of just 0.000004 per cent.
