According to Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, its up to both President to conclude that there will or will not be a problem if UMNO wants to work together with Pakatan Rakyat (PKR).
“Is it wrong if UMNO wants to work with PKR? If its wrong it’s up to them. So if they say no, never discussed, it means it is not true that UMNO wants to collude with PKR. There is no cooperation. Whether the cooperation took place or not. Anwar should answered”
“So there are two things here. First, the conversation and is it genuine? Second, what is in the conversation, right or wrong? If the story is true, I heard it too (audio). The story, Ahmad Zahid admitted Anwar as a teacher. If the audio is legit is it wrong for Anwar to be Ahmad Zahid’s teacher?” expressed Hamzah in regards to the voice recording between UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said that this is so strange and question why are this two president so angry.
Ahmad Zahid and Anwar became the focus after the audio recording of the conversation which was allegedly similar to their voices.
Through the 4 minute and 17 second audio, a voice similar to Anwar was heard praising Ahmad Zahid’s speech at the UMNO General Assembly (PAU) through a phone call.
Hamzah said, once the report has been submitted to the authority, the voice recording will be investigated.
